MATLAB & Simulink Toolbox Training
In-person, hands-on training on MATLAB, Simulink and the engineering toolboxes, for colleges and companies, taught on real EV, battery and power-electronics models.
For: Engineering colleges, research groups and industry teams
Aura Volt trains engineers, faculty and students to use MATLAB, Simulink and their toolboxes on real engineering problems. The models in our Virtual Lab are the kind of models we teach with.
Toolboxes we teach
- MATLAB: scripts, functions, data analysis and plots
- Simulink: building, simulating and debugging system models
- Simscape Electrical: batteries, motors, converters and grid models
- Stateflow: state machines for BMS, charging and protection logic
- App Designer: turning a model into a tool that others can use
- Code generation: from Simulink models to C code for microcontrollers such as STM32
How the training runs
- In person, for academic and industry clients
- Hands-on: every participant builds and runs models during the session
- Tailored: topics, depth and length are set with you before we quote
- Material to keep: the models and notes used in the sessions
How to book
- Tell us the audience, number of people, topics and preferred dates, through the enquiry form or WhatsApp.
- We reply within 2 working days with a plan and a written quote.
- We confirm the dates and deliver the training.
Models we have built in this area
Open any of these in our Virtual Lab to see the model, its results and a live animation.
Learn it in a live course
- EV Powertrain Fundamentals with MATLAB/Simulink · 30 live hours, new batch every month
- PMSM Motor Control (FOC) in Simulink · 30 live hours, new batch every month
Questions
- Is the training online or in person?
- We train academic and industry clients in person. Our public EV courses run live online.
- Can the training use our own models or projects?
- Yes. Where possible we build the sessions around your models, so that your team leaves with skills it can use the next day.
- Which MATLAB version is used?
- We teach on MATLAB R2026a. Tell us your version and we adapt the material.
